Meagan MacArthur is an associate at McKenzie Lake Lawyers in London, Ontario, where the work centres on class actions along with mass torts and litigation involving many parties. MacArthur was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 after earning a JD at Toronto Metropolitan University's Lincoln Alexander School of Law, which followed a political science BA from Western University in 2020. Law school came with real client work. MacArthur helped people with refugee claims at the Refugee Law Office and gained litigation experience before the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Social Benefits Tribunal through Neighbourhood Legal Services in both Toronto and London. The school's Integrated Practice Curriculum added hands-on time in several other legal settings.

Mooting was a strong suit. The Lincoln Alexander team MacArthur competed on took Best Overall Team at the 2023 Walsh Family Law Moot, and there was also a preliminary round win at the Hicks Morley Moot. Away from the office, you'll find MacArthur baking, crocheting, travelling or spending time with family and friends.
