About Maxime

Maxime Raymond practices exclusively in criminal and penal law, representing individuals and companies at first instance and on appeal. He has worked on complex cases involving gangsterism, the importation and production of narcotics, corruption of foreign agents, dangerous driving causing injury, impaired driving causing death, fraud, murder, and sexual assault. Alongside major cases, he places importance on representing individuals accused for the first time, focusing on guiding clients through what can be a long and complex judicial process. He has appeared as an intervener before the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of the Quebec Association of Defense Lawyers (AQAAD) and has lectured on the legal rules applying in sexual offence cases, including at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. As a law student, he won the award for best moot in the elimination round of the Pan-Canadian Gale Cup competition.
