About Matthew
Matthew Wilton earned his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1985 and was called to the Manitoba Bar the following year after articling in Winnipeg. He moved to Toronto, articled with Bell Temple, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1989, later working in the Health Law Department at Goodman & Carr before founding the predecessor to the current firm in 1997. As a litigator he has appeared in every court in Ontario as well as the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. His practice covers commercial litigation, professional discipline matters for dentists, lawyers, physicians and other health professionals, employment law, and general litigation, and he acts for regulated health professionals across Canada. He frequently speaks on administrative law and professional discipline issues and is a member of the Manitoba Metis Federation.
