About Matthew
Matthew Schleifer studied accountancy at Montreal's John Molson School of Business before earning his Juris Doctor at Robson Hall in Winnipeg, where he got involved with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation and competed in the bilingual Laskin Moot. He has practiced family law since his 2016 call to the bar and, after nearly ten years at large Ontario firms, started Mahogany Law with a focus on client-first service and careful attention to detail. Matthew has built a reputation as a skilled negotiator and litigator, representing clients successfully in both the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Justice, including complex motions and trials. He is fluent in both English and French.
