About Mary

Mary J.E. Foss grew up in Manotick, Ontario, and earned a B.A. in Law from Carleton University in 1988 before working as a legal assistant in Manotick and Ottawa. She joined the firm as a legal assistant to Greg Anderson and his former partner, Stephen March, in 1993, and began law school part time at the University of Ottawa in 2005 while continuing to work. She won the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP prize for the highest standing in advanced taxation in 2009, graduated cum laude in 2011, and was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada that September. Mary now practises in real estate, mortgages, municipal law, and wills and estates.
