About Marlenne

Marlenne Doss is the founder and principal of Doss Law Professional Corporation, practising wills and estates, immigration and refugee law, real estate law, and corporate law since founding the firm in 2008. She is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, a Notary Public, and a Commissioner of Oaths, and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and tribunals including the Immigration and Refugee Board. Marlenne earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto before attending law school at Queen's University. She has worked as an instructor in paralegal and law clerk courses, practiced at a firm specializing in immigration and refugee law, and worked at a prominent Ottawa intellectual property firm handling corporate, trademark, and patent matters. She was called to the bar in 2005 and speaks English and Arabic.
