About Marie-Soleil

Marie-Soleil Tanguay joined CSG Avocats in September 2024 after an internship with a large criminal law firm in Montreal. She graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2023, having also completed a year of criminology studies, and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2024. She gained experience through legal aid clinics in criminal and youth law as well as placements with CSG Avocats and the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales (DPCP), giving her experience on both the defence and prosecution sides. Her practice, based in the Outaouais and Maniwaki regions, covers sexual assault, domestic violence, impaired driving, theft, drug offences and criminal negligence, along with youth criminal matters and provincial infraction notices. She and her team were national champions at the Sopinka mooting competition.
