About Marie-Pierre

Marie-Pierre Doucette has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2009 and practises primarily in civil litigation and disciplinary law. She completed family mediator training in 2015 and became a co-founder and partner of Ad Litem Avocats in 2018. She has since written legal articles for Le Denturo, Quebec's denturology trade magazine, and in 2023 completed a master's degree in health law and policy at the Université de Sherbrooke, reflecting her particular interest in professional regulation in the health sector. She has acted in a number of high-profile matters before the disciplinary committee of the Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec, became an OACIQ-accredited trainer in 2025, and now trains real estate brokers on the disciplinary process. In 2025 and 2026 she completed a 272-hour program in applied psychology and communications.
