About Marie-Claude

Marie-Claude Barrette practises labour law, advising entrepreneurs and business leaders on managing workplace conflict and improving organizational health through internal policy drafting, staff training, and conflict prevention, and she also represents employers in disputes with employees or over their rights. She holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal, studied language and writing at the University of California and the Université de Sherbrooke, and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2017. She then spent four years working with a grievance and dispute arbitrator, taking part in more than 200 hearings, before serving as senior counsel for an association representing managers of Québec's early childhood centres.
