About Marie-Carole

Marie-Carole Descollines founded MCDescollines Avocate in Sherbrooke in 2016 and, as of 2025, extended the practice to Quebec City. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2012 and practices across a broad range of areas, including business law, insurance, family law, youth protection, labour and employment law, civil law, administrative law, and private international law. Marie-Carole Descollines began her career at a firm in Bromont focused on tax, civil, business, criminal and penal, and family law, then worked at a Sherbrooke firm alongside family law and youth protection practitioners before starting her own practice. She holds an LL.B. in civil law and a J.D. in common law and transnational law from the Université de Sherbrooke, a college diploma in paralegal studies from O'Sullivan College in Montreal, and a bachelor's degree in law and justice from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. She later earned a graduate diploma in business law and risk management (DARE) from the Université de Sherbrooke to expand her services for businesses. Marie-Carole Descollines is bilingual in French and English and serves clients throughout the province of Quebec.
