About Manon

Manon Iwasiw earned a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2020, majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Indigenous Studies. Before law school she worked in Kenora as a Mental Health Court Support worker with the Canadian Mental Health Association, gaining experience with individuals with mental illness in the criminal justice system. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2024, working as a caseworker at Lakehead University Community Legal Services on Landlord and Tenant Board, criminal, and quasi-criminal files, and as a teaching assistant for the Civil Practice course. She was called to the Bar of Ontario on October 28, 2024, and her practice focuses on criminal defence and matters before the Ontario Review Board.
