About Mahta
Mahta Azarakhsh is the founder of Mivechi Law and a dual-qualified lawyer, licensed as a Barrister and Solicitor in British Columbia and as a Solicitor of England and Wales, with more than 18 years of international legal experience in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. Her practice covers corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, corporate finance and restructuring, corporate governance, succession and estate planning, and private-client advisory work for entrepreneurs, private companies, family enterprises, and investors. Before founding Mivechi Law, she worked in-house for a publicly traded company headquartered in the Middle East and later practised with a Wall Street law firm's London office, advising on cross-border transactions. She returned to Vancouver in 2012 and continues to advise clients on business growth, governance, succession planning, restructuring, and private wealth matters. Mahta is fluent in English and Farsi and conversational in Arabic.
