About Lucas

Lucas Fraser was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Science from St. Francis Xavier University in 2017, followed by a law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2020, where he specialized in Aboriginal law. He articled with Portside Law starting in 2021, joined as an associate lawyer after his call to the bar, and became the firm's sole owner and operator in September 2024. Lucas was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022 and has appeared before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (both General and Family Divisions), and the Provincial Court of Alberta, practicing criminal, corporate, employment, and family law along with estate planning.
