About Lorraine

Lorraine Scollin practises family law and estate planning in Winnipeg, drawing on three decades of experience in the settlement, mediation, arbitration, and litigation of family and estate matters. Her family law work covers separation and divorce, parenting arrangements, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, adoption and guardianship, grandparents' access, and parental alienation cases, while her estate work focuses on planning for blended families and clients with disabled beneficiaries. She was called to the bar in Manitoba in 2008 after earning her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba, following an earlier career as a full-time mediator and family assessor. She has also completed further training in mediation, collaborative family law, and family law arbitration.
