About Lorne
Lorne Penner is a senior solicitor at Ahlstrom Wright in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Born in Three Hills, Alberta, he graduated with his LLB from the University of Alberta in 1999 and was admitted to the Alberta and Northwest Territories Bars in 2000 and 2007 respectively. Before becoming a lawyer, Lorne was a businessman in the agricultural and construction industries and served as a municipal councillor. He is experienced in regulatory, business, property, and estate law, has handled large-scale mergers, acquisitions, and international business transactions, and administered a number of large estates. Lorne sits on the boards of the Edmonton John Howard Society, Hope Mission, and Food for the Hungry Canada, and is a Certified Advisor with the Canadian Institute of Certified Executor Advisors.
