About Leigh

Leigh Clark is a lawyer at Gillian Hnatiw & Co. focused on civil litigation. Before joining the firm she practised at a Toronto insurance defence boutique, gaining broad experience in professional liability, class actions, personal injury, property claims, and health law before courts ranging from Small Claims Court up to the Supreme Court of Canada. In law school she served three years on the board of the Canada-United States Law Journal, becoming Editor-in-Chief of its 44th volume, edited several volumes of the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, and led the Gender and the Law Association as President. She continues to act as a moot supervisor and registrar for university competitions. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and holds a J.D. from Western University, an M.A. from Queen's University, and a B.A. from Western University. She is Vice Chair of LEAF Toronto and was named to the Best Lawyers 'Ones to Watch in Canada' list for 2026.
