About Lavinia
Lavinia ("Lavy") is originally from Romania and spent much of her life in Madrid, Spain, where she and her family immigrated. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2010 and was admitted to the Madrid Bar Association, later earning a Master's Degree in International Business Law with a mention of excellence from the same university. After moving to Canada, she co-owned and operated several businesses with her husband before returning to law, attending the Internationally Trained Lawyers Program at the University of Alberta and obtaining her Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2018. She articled with a law firm in Red Deer and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2019. Lavy maintains a general practice in civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates, and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Central Alberta Bar Society.
