About Laurence
Laurence Fecteau is a Senior Associate at JFK Law's Montreal office whose practice focuses on Nation Building and Governance, including modern treaty implementation and the negotiation of impact and benefit agreements. Before joining JFK she practised for seven years at a boutique Montreal firm serving a modern treaty organization and local Indigenous governments, and previously practised criminal law in Montreal and Nunavik. Laurence holds a J.D. from the Université de Montréal (2022) and an LL.B. from the Université de Sherbrooke (2015), was called to the Quebec Bar in 2016, and received the Young Bar Association of Montreal's Lawyer of the Year award in the Administrative and Labour Law category in 2025.
