About Kristine
Kristine Anderson is the founder of Fern Law and brings over 20 years of legal experience to the firm. Anderson focuses on estate litigation, including disputes over will validity, contested inheritances, and trust management, as well as estate planning, estate administration, and guardianship applications. Anderson also handles power of attorney disputes, using mediation and negotiation where possible and litigating when necessary. Since 2014, Anderson has assisted clients with domestic contracts such as cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts, and works on matters where family law and estate law intersect. Anderson earned an LL.B. from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2000 and was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2001 and in Ontario in 2002. Anderson was recognized in the 2026 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
