About Klara
Klara Cozens is a senior family lawyer and co-founder of CLP Family Law Group in Red Deer. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 2006 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 2010, and she was called to the Alberta Bar in 2011. Klara has focused her practice on family law since her call to the bar and is a registered collaborative lawyer who prefers the Collaborative Law Process or other out-of-court resolution methods, though she also represents clients in court when needed. She articled at Altalaw LLP in Red Deer and became a partner there in 2020, practicing family law until 2026, when she co-founded CLP Family Law Group. Klara is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Association of Collaborative Lawyers of Central Alberta, the Central Alberta Bar Society, and the Professional Women's Network of Red Deer.
