About Kendra
Kendra Stanyon is a barrister and solicitor who focuses her practice on defending clients charged with serious criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory offences. She appears at all levels of court in Ontario, as well as before quasi-criminal and regulatory tribunals, and has conducted numerous homicide, firearms, drug, sexual assault, and other violent offence trials. Stanyon also advocates for the rights of cannabis producers and users and is experienced in cannabis licensing matters at the municipal, provincial, and federal level. Before opening her own practice, she worked at a prominent criminal law firm in Toronto. Stanyon holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English Literature and Theatre from Queen's University and a Master's in Communication from York and Ryerson University, and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
