About Kelsey

Kelsey Sitar co-founded the firm in 2009 and built a reputation representing clients charged in complex cases involving large-scale white-collar crime, technology-based offences, and charges arising from violent-crime investigations, often involving wiretap authorizations. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from St. Francis Xavier University in 2004, a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007, and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall in 2018. Kelsey taught Criminal Procedure at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law starting in 2018, authored and co-authored articles including several in the Canadian Criminal Law Review, and served as President of the Criminal Defence Lawyers Association (Calgary) from 2023 until 2026. She has since moved from private practice into education and the access-to-justice sector and no longer provides legal services through the firm.
