About Kaven

Kaven Morasse is a member of the Barreau du Québec who practises exclusively in criminal and penal law. He belongs to the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal, Laval et Longueuil and the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates de la défense. He began his career in the criminal law section of Montreal's legal aid office before moving into private practice, where he built a reputation as an experienced trial lawyer. He appears regularly before Quebec's courts, including jury trials and the Court of Appeal, on cases involving homicide, sexual offences, drug offences, impaired driving and various regulatory offences. In 2015 he founded Morasse Avocats, a boutique criminal law firm. He has also developed experience representing clients on the autism spectrum or with intellectual disabilities in criminal court, and belongs to the Fédération québécoise de l'autisme and the Société québécoise de la déficience intellectuelle.
