Katie Walker has lived and practiced law in Fort McMurray for more than a decade and co-founded Hansra Walker Law. Her practice focuses primarily on family law, where she is known for practical advice, strong advocacy, and a compassionate approach to complex and emotionally challenging matters. Before co-founding the firm, she built a respected family law practice in Fort McMurray, representing clients in parenting, child and spousal support, property division, and child protection matters. She brings extensive courtroom experience and a steady, solutions-focused perspective to every file. Katie serves as Board Chair of the Fort McMurray SPCA and has previously served as a director of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo. She also volunteers with the Community Legal Clinic to support access to justice.
