About Katie
Katie Gerber earned her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, then returned to Ontario to article and be called to the Ontario Bar. She spent a number of years as an associate at another Barrie family law firm before joining Moreau Family Law. Katie works to make the legal process more approachable, helping clients define their goals and build a strategic, cost-effective plan toward resolution, recognizing that family law disputes often call for negotiation rather than an outright win or loss. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Children's Treatment Network of Simcoe York and mentors students studying law in the UK. Originally from Hamilton, Katie moved to Simcoe County in 2017.
