Kathy Noohi is the founder and president of Noohi Law, where she has practised personal injury and disability law for two decades since being called to the bar in 2004. Born in Tehran, Iran, she originally studied medicine in Hungary before immigrating to Canada in 1994, later shifting her career to law. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from York University. Kathy worked at a boutique personal injury firm in Toronto before starting her own practice in 2013, and over her career she has settled more than 2,500 personal injury and disability cases. She has completed the Advanced ADR Workshop through the Stitt Feld Handy Group and belongs to the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Iranian Women's Organization of Ontario. She speaks English and Farsi.
