About Kathryn

Kathryn Hendrikx is Senior Counsel at her family law firm and limits her practice to family law, a field she sees as requiring knowledge of tax, estates, and corporate law. She handles custody and access, parenting plans, high-conflict separations, support, and property and pension division, and is trained in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, and collaborative family law. Kathryn earned her law degree from Osgoode in 2001 and was called to the bar in 2002, moving into family law exclusively by 2006 and launching her own firm in 2017. In 2015 she was appointed a Dispute Resolution Officer of the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, and she is a past president and life member of the Women's Law Association of Ontario. She created the Online Divorce Forms project, which she presented at Stanford Law School and which won the 2019 Precedent Magazine Innovation Award.
