About Kathryn
Kathryn Doyle is a criminal defence lawyer based in downtown Toronto and the founder of Doyle Criminal Defence. She represents clients at all stages of the criminal justice process, including bail hearings, criminal trials, and appeals, and has defended individuals facing charges ranging from sexual assault to serious drug, firearm, and violent crime allegations. Before founding her own practice, Doyle was a partner at the boutique firm Bytensky Shikhman Barristers, where she gained trial and appellate experience. She regularly appears in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal, and her practice is grounded in a commitment to holding the Crown to its burden and safeguarding her clients' fundamental rights.
