About Karine

Karine Paradis practises criminal defence law. Originally from St-Robert near Sorel, she first studied legal techniques before completing her law degree at the Université du Québec à Montréal, graduating in 2003. After law school, she began her career as a defence lawyer and joined Richard Sylvain's practice, which led to the founding of Les Avocats Sylvain et Paradis. She focuses on legal research and writing, particularly matters involving the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and is regularly consulted on grounds of appeal and factum drafting. She is also known for her negotiation skills.
