About Julie

Julie Duranceau has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2001 and is certified as a mediator by the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), an affiliate of the ADR Institute of Canada. The Barreau du Québec has also recognized her as an investigator for workplace harassment complaints. She mediates civil, commercial and labour disputes, has a niche practice in sports law, and handles files before the Régie de l'énergie's administrative tribunal. She began her career in civil and commercial litigation at Stikeman Elliott, then joined the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada as a settlement facilitator and resource-centre coordinator, before building a practice focused exclusively on alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, investigation and conflict-management advice for organizations, businesses and individuals.
