About Julia

Julia (Ye) Zhang is the senior law clerk and Chinese law counsel at Sunwood Law. Before retiring from practice in China, she was a senior partner at a law firm in Shandong Province and practised law there for more than two decades, gaining experience in business litigation, civil litigation (particularly family law matters), and international investment. She graduated from China University of Political Science and Law and has since trained in legal assistantship and immigration work in Canada, serving as a senior law clerk and legal assistant at firms in Ontario and Manitoba. She remains a registered practising lawyer in China and advises Sunwood Law's clients on matters involving Chinese law.
