About Julia
Julia Burke is an employment lawyer and investigator and counsel to Sarah Vokey Law. She advocates for both employee and employer clients across wrongful dismissal, human rights and accommodation, recruitment and hiring, employment standards, workplace policies, harassment, workplace safety, and privacy matters, and also conducts workplace and sports investigations, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and academic research integrity. Before joining Sarah Vokey Law, she practised employment law for six years, including about five years at a Toronto boutique employment law firm on Bay Street alongside Sarah Vokey and Ayaz Huseynov. She has represented clients at the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Canada Industrial Relations Board. Burke is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School.
