About Josh

Josh Fraser grew up between Margaree and Baddeck, Nova Scotia, the son of a practicing lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing from Saint Mary's University in 2018 and completed his LL.B. at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, focusing on commercial law. In 2023 he won the Mason Hayes Essay Award at Sussex for an essay on commercial, employment, competition, and insolvency law. He returned to Cape Breton, completed federal exams to have his foreign law degree recognized, articled with EMM Law starting in 2024, and joined the firm as an associate in June 2025. His practice covers wills and estate planning, real estate, adult representation, trusts, and commercial and corporate matters.
