About Jonathan
Jonathan Reilly is the managing lawyer of English Bay Law Corporation, which he founded in 2005. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, including private equity, shareholder agreements, and corporate records. He earned his LLB from the University of British Columbia and was called to the BC bar in 2003, and also holds a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Regent College. Before founding the firm, he articled with a large regional law firm, worked as an associate at a Vancouver boutique, and began his legal career as a paralegal at Freshfields in London, working on complex M&A and securities matters. He has also served as a director, CFO, and corporate secretary for a mining corporation and as secretary of a wind energy corporation, and has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 2002.
