About Jonas
Jonas Dubas is the founder of Dubas & Company, a Vancouver family and commercial litigation practice. He began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Manitoba Department of Justice, handling child protection matters, then practiced family and commercial litigation in Winnipeg before moving to British Columbia, where he worked as a federal prosecutor. Since 1997 he has maintained a private practice in domestic and commercial litigation, handling custody and asset division matters, and he is also a qualified family law mediator. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Management in 1986 and a law degree from the university's Robson Hall Faculty of Law in 1989. He was called to the Manitoba bar in 1990 and to the British Columbia bar in December 1993.
