About Johnathan
Johnathan Hidalgo Pinargote is the lawyer behind Hidalgo Law, a North York, Ontario practice he launched after working at Chapnick and Associates, where he began as an articling student in August 2021 and became an associate lawyer in 2022. Mentored there by Paul Dineen, he focused on immigration and refugee matters, including motions to stop deportation and Federal Court proceedings, as well as some estate and real estate work. At Hidalgo Law he continues to focus on refugee claims, judicial reviews, and immigration applications, alongside estate planning services. He is registered with Legal Aid Ontario's roster for refugee law matters and provides services in English and Spanish.
