John Paul Corrent founded Corrent & Macri LLP in 1979 and now practices with Mousseau DeLuca McPherson Prince LLP in Windsor. He focuses on wills and estates, real estate, business law, and related matters, serving clients throughout Ontario, the United States, and internationally. His wills and estates practice covers estate planning, asset protection, powers of attorney, minimizing probate fees, and business succession planning. His real estate practice covers residential and commercial transactions, development, and mortgage and refinancing matters. His business law practice covers incorporations, buying and selling businesses, shareholder agreements and disputes, tax planning and corporate restructuring, dissolutions, and mergers and amalgamations. He received Awards of Excellence in Estate Planning in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
