John J. Somjen holds a B.Comm. and J.D. and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1971 after attending the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, having previously studied at the University of Toronto's business school. Since 1971 he has practiced Canadian immigration law, serving clients from the United Kingdom, the United States, China, Mexico, South America, Russia and the former Soviet republics, Iran, India, Pakistan and many countries across Africa.
