About H.

H. Paul Beyer is the principal and senior member of Kopperud Hamilton Beyer, practising in real estate law, corporate and commercial law, estate administration, wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and general estate planning. He grew up on a family farm in Grey County and began his career in 1985 in private practice in Toronto doing general solicitor's work. He later held in-house roles as Associate Counsel for the Confederation Life Insurance Group of Companies and as General Counsel of an international finance company and a publicly traded national hospitality company, and worked as a financial and estate planner and as an editor and writer for a national legal newspaper. Before joining the firm, he spent five years in a commercial real estate and construction law practice in Toronto. He received his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a Notary Public. He joined the firm in 2015 and assumed full responsibility for it in 2018.
