About John

John Elliott is a lawyer at Carter Booth LLP, which he joined as an associate in March 2026. He was born and raised in County Cork, Ireland, and graduated with a first-class joint honours degree in English and Sociology from University College Cork before emigrating to Calgary in July 2015 to study law at the University of Calgary. While studying, he worked as a pipeline inspection field technician and volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Students of Canada's Emergency Protection Order Project. He has been working in family law since January 2024.
