About Joe

Joe Gordon earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Notre Dame in Nelson, BC, before completing his law degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He articled in downtown Vancouver and was called to the BC Bar in 1978, then moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta, where he was called to the Alberta Bar and practiced concurrently in both provinces for several years. He later returned to the Okanagan, working as an associate at Salloum Doak in Kelowna and then as a partner at Bassett Gordon in West Kelowna, before establishing his own firm, Gordon & Company, in Kelowna in 1991. His practice covers family law, criminal law, civil litigation, and driving and traffic offences. He has volunteered extensively in the community, including as a firefighter, youth hockey and soccer coach, and with Designated Driver Dads.
