About Jessy

Jessy Villalta worked as a court registrar (greffière-audiencière) at the Superior Court from 2007 to 2020 before reorienting her career toward law. She earned a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2018 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2020. Villalta is a member of the Comité sur la diversité ethnoculturelle since 2021 and volunteers with the pro bono legal service Parlons Droits. Her experience as a registrar gave her practical knowledge of family law, where she now concentrates her practice, and she teaches law in the Techniques juridiques program at Collège CDI in Longueuil. She offers services in French, English, and Spanish, serving the Hispanic community, and co-founded the firm with her sister Shirley Villalta and Geneviève Choquette.
