About Jesica

Jesica Cacciavillani is the founder of JC Criminal Law and focuses her practice on criminal defence. Before law, she worked in the corporate urban-development field, which she found confining, and this pushed her toward a career in law. She earned a Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. She articled and then worked for several years as an associate at a criminal law firm in London, Ontario before starting her own practice. Jesica regularly appears before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, including jury trials. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Master of Environmental Studies from York University, and a graduate diploma from the Schulich School of Business. She belongs to the London Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Ontario Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Middlesex Law Association, and Women in Canadian Criminal Defence (WICCD).
