About Jen
Kirk founded Bluewave Law in 2021 after leading the Alberta Employment Law Group and Alberta Immigration Law Group for a large international law firm. Her practice covers employment law, business immigration law, workplace human rights, occupational health and safety, and corporate law, advising organizations on workforce management and business strategy. She was the Canadian Bar Association's regional Immigration Law Chair in 2021 and has been an executive member of that section since 2014, and she volunteers as a lawyer with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Calgary (2013) and is admitted to the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of the Northwest Territories, and the Law Society of Yukon.
