About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Peterson was raised in Woodfibre, British Columbia, and studied history and law at the University of British Columbia. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1988 in Kelowna, where he has practised family law ever since, including mediation and preparing Views of the Child and Hear the Child reports. For more than 20 years he was contracted counsel to the Ministry of Children and Family Development, and he now represents families seeking relief against the ministry. He has served on the local Women's Shelter Board for more than 20 years.
