About Jean-Noël

Jean-Noël Desmarais is a lawyer at SNT Law in Sudbury, practising tax law, corporate law, trusts, and estate law. He is a fourth-generation lawyer and a graduate of the joint JD/MBA program at York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business. He was called to the bar in 2023 and is currently pursuing the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada In-Depth Tax Course. He works with corporations and high-net-worth individuals across northern Ontario, helping owner-managers with tax and legal planning at each stage of the business lifecycle. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
