About Jean-Jacques

Jean-Jacques Rainville began his career in the legal department of the City of Montreal before joining the City of Longueuil's legal department as director. He later joined Dunton Rainville and became chairman of the firm's board, practicing mainly in administrative law, public law, labour relations and municipal law on behalf of private, public and para-public employers. Rainville has pleaded before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and has presented bills before Quebec's National Assembly. He is president of La Financière Améribec Inc., a governor of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the South Shore of Montreal, and a life governor of the Quebec Bar Foundation. He is active in numerous cultural and charitable organizations, including Usine C, the Longueuil Symphony Orchestra and several hospital foundations. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1976 and holds an LL.L. from the Université de Sherbrooke.
