About Jason
Jason is a criminal defence lawyer with over two decades of experience in Alberta's legal system, called to the bar in 2000. From 2002 to 2014 he served as a Crown Prosecutor handling serious offences including murders, robberies, frauds, sexual assaults, drug trafficking, and break and enters, giving him a strategic advantage from having seen both sides of the courtroom. He has served as a search warrant instructor for law enforcement and as a designated agent for the Canadian government in wiretap matters. He joined Red Deer Law Group in 2014, is President of the Central Alberta Bar Society, and is Vice-president of the Red Deer Criminal Defence Lawyers Association.
