About Janine
Janine A.S. Thomas focuses exclusively on estate planning, estate administration and related tax issues. She has more than 30 years of experience with law firms in Vancouver and Toronto, advising some of Canada's leading families, business owners and charitable organizations. She has served on boards and planned giving committees for organizations including BCIT, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Kaiser Foundation. Her background also includes business law and time spent with an international insurance company on estates, committeeships and business succession planning, and she has completed mediation training. She opened her own firm in 2003 and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
