About Jamie
Jamie Kopman is a criminal defence lawyer serving Toronto and the GTA, including Scarborough, Brampton, Milton, Hamilton, Oshawa, and Newmarket. After earning a B.A. Hons. at Wilfrid Laurier University, he obtained his J.D. from Bond University in Australia, where he helped establish the Bond University Legal Clinic providing pro bono legal services. He articled at a Toronto placement focused on criminal and family law before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. Since then he has represented clients facing charges including sexual and domestic assault, drug offences, fraud, and murder, appearing before Judges and Masters in the Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice as well as various tribunals. Drawing on his community outreach background, he founded KMS Legal to serve criminal, family, and estates clients.
